Prepping Your Vehicle for Indoor Storage

• Refill fluids – If fluid tanks are empty, the space can form condensation over time, leading to corrosion. Before storing your vehicle, refill your windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, fuel, and antifreeze.
• Get an oil change – Any old oil that sits for a long period of time holds contaminants that can damage the engine. Even if you’re not due for one, be sure to get a fresh oil change to prevent any issues.
• Wash and clean your vehicle – Remove any perishable items, vacuum leftover food particles, and thoroughly clean and dry your vehicle from the inside out.
• Inflate the tires – Tires deflate in colder temperatures and can cause flat splots when it sit for an extended period of time. Check the owner’s manual for the recommended pressure rating and inflate each tire before storing.
